Peter Obi Donates ₦15 Million to University of Nigeria Nsukka Dental Students Association

Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has made a donation of ₦15 million to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Dental Students Association. The association had appealed for urgent intervention and support of about ₦40 million to upgrade their laboratory and increase the department's graduation and induction quota as part of their re-accreditation process.

Peter Obi emphasized his commitment to advancing education and healthcare in Nigeria, stating that it's essential to prioritize the needs of young people. He expressed concern over the country's misplaced priorities, where millions are spent on luxury cars while critical areas like education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation are neglected .

As a seasoned politician and businessman, Peter Obi served as the Governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2014 and ran for president in the 2023 elections. He is known for his advocacy on good governance, economic development, and social justice .
