The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie, conducted an inspection of the ongoing work at the Hospitality Management Building Complex within the institution.

The multi-functional building, which has reached an advanced stage of construction, comprises staff offices, two conference halls, and modern guest rooms. The project had been stalled for over ten years before Dr. Awuzie assumed office in February 2025. Her intervention, facilitated through TETfund support, revived the project and accelerated progress.

Accompanied by members of the University management, Dr. Awuzie expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of the work, emphasizing that upon completion, the complex would enhance learning, provide practical training opportunities, and boost the overall educational experience for Hospitality Management students.
