Rector, Osun Polytechnic Congratulates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, Urges Spiritual Reflection

In celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, the Rector of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, Mr. Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi, has extended his congratulations to Islamic faithful, particularly those within the polytechnic community.

In a statement, Alabi expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to celebrate the holiday, and encouraged Muslims to reflect on the spiritual lessons of the prophets, including Prophet Mohamed and Prophet Ibrahim. He urged them to emulate the prophets' humility, obedience, and dedication to their faith.

Alabi also called on Muslims to pray for Osun State Governor, Asiwaju Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, whom he described as a "God-sent messiah" who has worked to rebuild the state. He praised the governor's efforts to revitalize the state's education sector and infrastructure development.

The rector pledged to continue supporting the governor's initiatives by maintaining high academic and moral standards at the polytechnic. He also prayed for continued peace and tranquility in the institution.

The Eid-el-Kabir celebration marks an important holiday in the Islamic calendar, commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of obedience to Allah.
