Borno State University Vice-Chancellor Strengthens Ties with Education Stakeholders

Professor Babagana Gutti, Vice-Chancellor of Borno State University (BOSU), has embarked on a series of strategic engagements with key stakeholders in the education sector.

Recently, he led a delegation of the university's new Principal Officers to meet with Professor Ishaq Olarewaju Oloyede, Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), in Abuja.

The visit aimed to familiarize the team with the JAMB office and introduce the new Principal Officers, including Registrar Hajiya Jallaba M. Sheikh, Bursar Dunoma Kyari Dunoma, and University Librarian Dr. Hamsatu Ali Kadala. Professor Gutti expressed gratitude for the Registrar's support to BOSU and commended him for the successes recorded in JAMB under his leadership.

 

Professor Oloyede assured the team of his maximum support for the development of the university and honored Professor Gutti with an award as a mark of appreciation for the visit.

In a similar vein, Professor Gutti and his team visited Architect Sonny S.T. Echono, Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), at the TETFund office in Abuja. The Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude for TETFund's support and interventions at BOSU and appealed for more interventions, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, as the university is in its second stage of development.
