Renowned Economist, Professor Simeon Oludiran Akinleye, to Deliver 4th Inaugural Lecture

Distinguished academic and scholar, Professor Simeon Oludiran Akinleye, hailing from the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), is set to grace the academic community with his erudition as he delivers the 4th Inaugural Lecture of the 2023/2024 Academic Session. The lecture, entitled *“Robbing Peter to Pay Paul: Formulating an Agenda for Redressing Unbalanced Development,”* is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

The prestigious event will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor of UNILAG, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, a distinguished academic and researcher in her own right.
