Sadiyat Abubakar of Gombe State University Emerges Winner in National Neuroscience Competition
Sadiyat Abubakar, a 300-level Medical College student from Gombe State University (GSU), has emerged as the winner in the female category of the National 5th ECO and National NeuroQuiz 2024. Organized by the Youth Neuroscience Association of Nigeria, the competition featured participants from top institutions, including OAU, ABU, and Prince Abubakar Audu University.

Sadiyat Abubakar, a 300-level student of the Medical College, Gombe State University (GSU), has clinched the top prize in the female category at the National 5th ECO and National NeuroQuiz 2024. This prestigious annual competition, organized by the Youth Neuroscience Association of Nigeria, aims to foster interest and excellence in neuroscience among young scholars.
Representing GSU with outstanding brilliance, Sadiyat Abubakar secured the coveted award, which comes with a significant cash prize. She competed alongside other exceptional participants from renowned institutions, including Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), and Prince Abubakar Audu University, demonstrating her academic prowess and dedication to the field of neuroscience.
