The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has declared the state’s commitment to ensuring that students at the Lagos State University, Ojo, reap the full benefits of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund.

He said, "Our goal is to cultivate a generation of innovative thinkers, problem solvers, and exceptional leaders who will propel sustainable development in Lagos State and beyond.
“As the Lagos State Government, we will collaborate with the Nigerian Education Loan Fund to ensure that the new national student loan programme is accessible to students of state-owned educational institutions in Nigeria, as pledged, and without any delay. We will make certain that students of the Lagos State University fully benefit from this commendable policy.”

He further emphasized that society has an obligation to reinforce the importance of academic excellence and it should never be undervalued or taken lightly.
