The Chairman of SEAP Holdings Limited, Pastor (Dr) Olatunde Oladokun, has fulfilled his pledge to donate a solar electricity system to the Faculty of Social Sciences at Redeemer’s University, providing a major boost to teaching, research, and administrative activities.

The donation followed a promise he made while delivering the keynote address at the 3rd Faculty of Social Sciences Annual Lecture Series in April, where he assured the faculty of an alternative power supply system.
Pastor Oladokun is the founder and leader of the 26-year-old Self-Reliance Economic Advancement Programme (SEAP), a multibillion-naira organisation with more than 2,500 full-time employees.
During the annual lecture, themed "Social Capital in the 21st Century: A Valuable Source of Wealth for Financial Sustainability in Nigeria," he challenged participants, including academics, students, and professionals from diverse backgrounds, on the importance of social capital as a key driver of success across different aspects of life.
In June, a team of engineers from SEAP Holdings delivered and installed industrial lithium battery-powered solar equipment capable of supplying electricity to all offices within the Faculty of Social Sciences building.
Reacting to the donation, the Vice-Chancellor of Redeemer’s University, Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, expressed appreciation to Pastor Oladokun for fulfilling his promise and providing an alternative power solution that will enhance productivity within the faculty.
The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Omowale Adelabu, also commended the donor, describing the intervention as a significant contribution to the faculty's growth.

"This multi-million naira donation to the Faculty of Social Sciences has brought a 24-hour, seven-days-a-week electricity supply to the faculty. This donation has improved our administrative and research output. All offices are connected to the solar system. We are deeply grateful to Pastor Oladokun for this kind gesture," he said.
