Senator Ikra Aliyu Bilbis Launches N110 Million Scholarship Fund for Less Privileged Students

Senator Ikra Aliyu Bilbis has announced the launch of a N110 million scholarship fund aimed at supporting students from less privileged homes who are currently enrolled in higher institutions, including universities, polytechnics, and monotechnics. This generous initiative continues Senator Bilbis's commitment to education, particularly benefiting students from Zamfara State.

The scholarship scheme has been expanded to accommodate a larger number of students across the country. A total of 2,000 students will benefit from the fund, with 500 students selected from each of the four local government areas. Each student will receive a sum of N50,000 to assist with their educational expenses.

The names of the committee members responsible for overseeing the disbursement of the scholarship will be announced soon.

This initiative is yet another testament to Senator Ikra Aliyu Bilbis's dedication to empowering the youth through education. The community expresses deep gratitude to the Senator for his continued support.
