In a significant breakthrough for the residents of Ada Jesus Lodge at Miracle Junction, Ifite Awka, in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, a notorious thief has been apprehended by local authorities. The culprit, identified as Precious Chukwuemeka, aged 25, hailing from Enugu State, has been accused of terrorizing the lodge with a string of thefts.

Chukwuemeka's reign of theft reportedly included a wide range of items, from electronic gadgets like phones and laptops to household essentials such as fans, beds, foams, bedstands, and even foodstuffs. The stolen loot also comprised miscellaneous items like power banks, clothing, and footmats, among others.

According to sources close to the investigation, Chukwuemeka claimed that his criminal activities were driven by the dire state of his mother's health, alleging that he resorted to theft to finance her medical expenses.
