The crux of the matter stems from Prof Ugwu's opposition to the RRBN's decision to admit technicians as members of the Radiographers’ association, which he argues contravenes the Radiographer’s Act. Following his legal challenge against this move, Prof Ugwu claims he was suspended by the RRBN. Despite legal proceedings being underway, Prof Okeji allegedly wrote a petition against Prof Ugwu to his institution, further tarnishing his reputation.
