Skyline University Nigeria Biological Sciences Department Marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In observance of the 2023 Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Department of Biological Sciences at Skyline University Nigeria (SUN) conducted a special outreach initiative.

Students from the 300 and 400 levels, along with faculty members, organized and conducted an awareness lecture at the Government Girls Arabic Secondary School on Zoo Road, Kano.

Prof. Sanjoy Kumar Pal, the Head of the Department of Biological Sciences at SUN, spearheaded the team that visited the school to enlighten attendees about the significance of early detection and understanding the effects of breast cancer. Emphasizing the importance of continuous education and public awareness, Prof. Pal stressed that being informed about the early signs of breast cancer is crucial in potentially saving lives.
