Dr. Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has initiated the establishment of 'Healthy Living Clubs' in primary and secondary schools throughout the state. The launch took place at the State Universal Basic Education Board headquarters in Awka, the state capital, involving head teachers, teachers, and students from approximately 325 schools across all 21 local government areas.

The primary objective of these clubs is to cultivate early awareness and consciousness regarding healthy living habits and lifestyles among schoolchildren, youths, and teenagers. Dr. Nonye Soludo emphasized the importance of guiding students and teenagers towards routines that promote healthy, sound, and happy lives. She emphasized that healthy living should not be considered a luxury but rather a conscious practice achievable through simple and deliberate habits.
