Stanbic IBTC Bank Announces 2024 University Scholarship for Nigerian Students
The scholarship programme is open to students who have participated in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have scored a minimum of 250 out of 400. It is also a requirement that the students have gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal university.
Stanbic IBTC Holdings has announced the opening of applications for its 2024 University Scholarship,for Nigerian students.
Stanbic Holdings, commonly referred to as Stanbic IBTC, is a financial service holding company in Nigeria.
This initiative is a continuation of the bank’s commitment to supporting the dreams and aspirations of Nigerian youths, a commitment that has been demonstrated over the years through various activities such as the Youth Leadership Series (YLS) and the Higher Institution Football League (HIFL).

The scholarship programme is open to students who have participated in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and have scored a minimum of 250 out of 400. It is also a requirement that the students have gained admission into any Nigerian state or federal university.
According to Stanbic IBTC, the total value of the award is N40 million, set to benefit 100 students. Each beneficiary will receive N400,000, covering a duration of four academic years. Beneficiaries are expected to maintain at least a second-class upper grade throughout this period.

The requirements for application include:
- Recent Passport Photograph
- Valid ID Card
- UTME Result
- O’Level (WAEC, NECO or GCE) Statement of Result or Certificate
- JAMB or University Admission Letter
