States with the Most Higher Institutions in Nigeria

The latest statistics have highlighted the states with the highest number of higher institutions in Nigeria. According to the data, Ogun State ranks second with a total of 50 higher institutions, closely followed by Osun and Oyo States, both with 47 institutions each.

Kwara State comes in fifth place, housing 45 higher institutions, while Kaduna and Kano States each have 43. Other notable mentions include Delta and Enugu States, which each have 33 higher institutions, followed by Bauchi and Benue States with 30. Edo State rounds out the list with 27 higher institutions.
