Rachael Olufogbe, a 300-level student at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, has been apprehended by the police for allegedly attacking a fellow female student during a dispute over a drying line in a private hostel.
The incident, which occurred in Oye Egbo community outside the university premises, escalated from a disagreement over the arrangement of clothes on the drying line. Olufogbe reportedly objected when the victim moved her clothes to create space, leading to a verbal altercation that turned violent.

Prof. Sunday Fashina, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, confirmed the incident, emphasizing that such actions are strictly prohibited within the campus premises.
