Taraba State University Averts Looming Strike Action as Vice-Chancellor Meets with ASUU EXCO
In a bid to address the ongoing industrial dispute and avert the looming strike action, the Vice-Chancellor of Taraba State University, Professor Sunday Paul Bako, and the University Management team met with the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) EXCO on Friday, May 30, 2024.

The meeting, held at the University's Senate Chamber, saw the Vice-Chancellor listening to the concerns of the union members and addressing issues such as pension scheme, unpaid salaries, and allowances. He assured the union that the university staff records have been incorporated into the state pension scheme, and the management is working with the state government to find a lasting solution to the problems.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed his commitment to finding a solution that works for everyone, ensuring the smooth running of the university.
