Taraba State University Bans Collection of Dues at Faculties, Departments, and Units

 Taraba State University's Senate has prohibited the collection of dues at various departments, faculties, units, and directorates, effective immediately.

This decision was made at the 67th Regular Session of the Senate on May 30, 2024.

According to a circular issued by the Registrar, Joseph U. Bibinu, on May 31, 2024, the ban applies to all forms of dues collection by staff or their proxies. This directive reinforces previous circulars issued on October 17, 2022, and June 23, 2023.

The university community, including staff and students, is advised to comply with this directive. Student associations are responsible for managing their own dues collection. Non-compliance by staff or their proxies will result in appropriate sanctions.
