The Vice-Chancellor of Taraba State University (TSU), Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, has issued a statement clarifying that the "Index Fee" for Medical Laboratory Science students is entirely separate from the university.

This fee is regulated solely by the Medical Laboratory Science Council, and TSU plays no role in its administration or collection .
