Taraba State University Rectifies CGPA Error on Result Sheets
In an official memorandum, Taraba State University (TSU) has addressed an error that occurred in the generation of students' result sheets through the e-checker system. The error, which displayed previous Cumulative Grade Point Averages (CGPAs) instead of the current ones, has been promptly rectified by the university.
The university management became aware of this issue when students reported the discrepancy between their displayed CGPAs and the ones approved by the University Senate on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Acting swiftly, TSU contacted its database service provider to address the error.
As a result, students are encouraged to check their results once again to verify that their current CGPAs are accurately reflected. It is important to note that this error was confined to the result sheets and did not impact the validity or accuracy of the main results approved during the last Senate meeting.
The Vice Chancellor and the university administration express their commitment to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of students' academic records. Students can rest assured that the necessary measures have been taken to rectify the issue, and their CGPAs now accurately reflect their academic achievements.
This correction ensures that students' academic records remain consistent and reliable as they progress in their educational journey at Taraba State University.
For further information or inquiries, students are encouraged to contact the university's academic services department for clarification and assistance.
The university appreciates the understanding and patience of its students during this brief period of correction and reaffirms its dedication to providing quality education and maintaining the highest standards of academic record-keeping.
