Taraba State University Registrar Dr. Joseph U. Bibinu Achieves Doctoral Milestone

Dr. Joseph U. Bibinu, the esteemed Registrar of Taraba State University (TASU), Jalingo, has been congratulated on successfully completing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

This achievement is a testament to his unwavering commitment to academic excellence and dedication to the advancement of higher education in Nigeria.

Dr. Bibinu is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he earned a B.Ed in Christian Religious Studies. He also holds a Master's degree from the University of Jos.

With over three decades of experience in the education system, Dr. Bibinu has served as a lecturer, Director of Central Administration and Council Matters, and Acting Registrar before being appointed as the substantive Registrar of TASU in March 2022.

Dr. Bibinu has played key roles in university administration, including overseeing matriculation ceremonies and implementing university policies.

Under Dr. Bibinu's leadership, TASU has implemented notable initiatives, including a ban on final-year students' "Signing Out Fan Fair Frenzy" celebrations, aimed at maintaining discipline and ensuring student safety. The university has also achieved medical milestones, such as successfully performing its first appendectomy surgery .
