Taraba State University Students from Donga Extend Gratitude to VC Prof. Sunday Paul Bako in Festive Courtesy Call

In a heartwarming gesture of gratitude and appreciation, some student leaders from Taraba State University, Jalingo, who are based in Donga paid a courtesy visit to their Vice-Chancellor Professor Sunday Paul Bako at his Donga residence as he returns home for the Christmas festive break.

Despite the VC's well-deserved holiday after being on active duty at and for the University from January to December couple with the rigorous Programmes Accreditation exercise by the NUC, the student leaders expressed their deep appreciation for the innovative strides he has brought to the university, enhancing the overall academic experience for staff and students.

 

At the visit, the leader of the delegation Comr. James J. Musa who is also the SUG General Secretary conveyed their thanks for the positive changes and advancements implemented under the leadership of the Prof Bako. He highlighted various innovative initiatives that have contributed to the academic and extracurricular growth of the university identifying infrastructure, discipline, academic stability and campaign against students exhortation as major indices of fostering a conducive environment of learning and development.

As a symbol of their appreciation, the students took the opportunity to offer prayers for the Vice-Chancellor, seeking God's protection and wisdom upon him. Their heartfelt prayers resonated with the spirit of the Christmas season, emphasizing the unity and goodwill that characterize the academic community at Taraba State University, Jalingo.

 

The Vice-Chancellor, touched by the students' gratitude and prayers, expressed his heartfelt thanks for their visit. He acknowledged the collective effort of the university community in achieving positive changes and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration for the betterment of the institution. Prof. Bako charged the students to be steadfast in the pursuit of excellence and take their studies seriously as that's the only permanent gift they can be remembered for.

 

The visit served as a beautiful testament to the strong bond between the students and the university leadership, bringing a common sense of unity and shared commitment to academic excellence in the State at large.
