Taraba State University Students Suspend Planned Protest, Issue 48-Hour Ultimatum to Government

Students of Taraba State University (TSU) have put their planned peaceful demonstration on hold, granting the state government a 48-hour ultimatum to resolve the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The students, who had initially planned to stage a protest on Monday, are frustrated over the disruption caused by the strike. According to Aliyu Sulaiman, President of the National Union of Taraba State Students (NUTASS), the government must act promptly to end the crisis and ensure students return to class without further delay.
