Taraba State University Takes Action Against Extortion and Malpractice
In a resolute effort to instill discipline and uphold academic standards at Taraba State University, Jalingo (TSUJ), the proactive Vice-Chancellor, Digital Professor Sunday Paul Bako, has taken significant measures to combat rampant extortion, misconduct, and other forms of academic malpractice among both staff and students
This action aligns with the National Universities Commission (NUC) Quality Assurance Policy.
Vice-Chancellor Bako, through the University's Directorate of Quality Assurance, has established an Independent Investigative Committee to address the issue of illegal collection of fees for project supervision. This committee is empowered to receive reports from students and members of the University community regarding any unauthorized fees related to project supervision.
