Today’s expected violence is of particular concern as Public Administration and Accounting students, predominantly affiliated with the Aye group, are scheduled to sign out. The situation remains volatile, and there are fears that further clashes could occur.
Authorities are calling on the Nasarawa State Police to remain vigilant and take decisive action to manage the situation. Efforts to prevent further escalation are critical as the institution works to ensure the safety of all students. The university community is urged to reject cultism and seek peaceful resolutions to conflicts.
