The Komuniti Project, which bridges theatre and environmental concerns, kicked off at Bowen University with a performance of Rasaki Ojo-Bakare’s ‘Ekun Omi’ (When Water Cries). The initiative, led by Thespian Theatre’s CEO, Mrs. Ayo Jaiyesimi, aims to inspire social change through the performing arts by highlighting current environmental issues and advocating for sustainable practices.

At AAUA, the project will feature the play ‘All for Peace’, directed by Zachariah Akinmoladun, in collaboration with the Department of Performing Arts. The play will be performed on campus, at the monarch's palace, and in the market square, evoking the traditional communal and traveling theatre concept in Africa.
