President Bola Tinubu has commended the collaborative efforts between the federal government and states following the release of the abducted Kuriga school children in Kaduna State. In a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Tinubu highlighted the importance of cooperation between authorities at various levels, especially in matters of security.

Tinubu praised the National Security Adviser, security agencies, and the Kaduna State government for their swift and diligent response to the abduction crisis, emphasizing the critical role played by urgency, meticulous attention, and tireless dedication in resolving cases of mass abductions.

The appointment of Senayon Olaoluwa as Director of the TETFund Centre of Excellence for Diaspora Studies at the University of Ibadan is expected to significantly enhance research efforts in Diaspora studies. Olaoluwa's expertise and the Centre's collaboration with the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) underscore its commitment to addressing critical issues affecting Diaspora communities.
