Topfaith University Appoints New Registrar and Director of ICT
Management of Topfaith University has announced the appointment of Mr. Leo Samuel Ekpene and Engr. Dr. Etimbuk Abraham as Registrar and Director of ICT of the institution, respectively.
Management of Topfaith University has announced the appointment of Mr. Leo Samuel Ekpene and Engr. Dr. Etimbuk Abraham as Registrar and Director of ICT of the institution, respectively, Myschoolnews report.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Patrick Ebewo, made this announcement during a recent meeting at the University.
Mr. Leo Samuel Ekpene, until his appointment, was an academic and former Acting Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Mubi. He holds degrees in Economics from the University of Calabar. He is an administrator and educator with decades of experience spanning various units of tertiary institutions. He took up a lecturing role as Lecturer III in 1982, and later became the Head of Department, Department of Business Administration and Management. A few years after, he rose to the position of Dean, School of Business Studies. Other positions held include: Chairman, Student Union Electoral Committee, Chairman, Examination Policy Committee, Chief Editor, Journal of Management, Arts and Technology (JOMAT), Dean, Student Affairs, and Director of Academic Planning. He is a member of the Nigerian Economics Society.

On the other hand, Engr. (Dr.) Etimbuk Abraham (B.Eng, M.Sc, PhD), until his appointment as Director of ICT, was the Acting Registrar of Topfaith University. He is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the corporate sector and in the education industry specifically. He is a graduate of Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria, and holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Manchester from 2014 to 2018.
Prof. Ebewo said that their appointments take effect immediately as they will be coordinating the affairs of their various units. “Mr. Leo will be coordinating the affairs of the Registry, while Dr. Etimbuk will now be coordinating the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) affairs.
