Tree Tagging Initiative at FULafia by NYSC Member Mr. Akighir S. Benjamin

As part of his community service development project, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, serving with the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Mr. Akighir S. Benjamin, has tagged some trees using their scientific and common names in the University.

Benjamin, a graduate of Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State.

Also, plans to organise a sensitisation lecture on the importance of trees and need for introducing afforestation and wildlife management as a course in the University and the nation at large.
