UDUS Defeats BUK in LAWSAN Legal Pitch Competition

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), emerged victorious over Bayero University, Kano (BUK), in the first round of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Legal Pitch Competition, held on August 24, 2024, via Google Meet.

The competition, held in honor of Prof. Ibrahim Abdullahi, SAN, featured two participants from each university. Themed "The Legal Gauntlet," the LAWSAN competition is structured in two rounds. The first round, which concluded on August 25, determined UDUS and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) as the finalists.

The second round, scheduled for September 7, 2024, will determine the ultimate champion. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Ojo, the Sokoto State Director of Policies, Programs, and Projects for LAWSAN, confirmed that the first round was successfully completed.
