The lecture, titled “Development Planning for Oil and Gas Fields: The Reservoir Engineer as a Jack of Many Trades and Master of Some,” explored the multidisciplinary demands of reservoir engineering and its role in sustainable oil and gas development.

Professor Isehunwa emphasized the need for holistic integration of technical, economic, and policy considerations in petroleum field development, urging the training of engineers who can blend scientific precision with practical adaptability.
The event marked the 19th in the series of inaugural lectures for the 2024/2025 academic session at the University of Ibadan.
