UNIABUJA Appoints New Acting Registrar

Mal Mohammed Sambo has officially assumed duty as Acting Registrar of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), effective November 11, 2025. His appointment, approved by the University Council, is for a period of three months.

Sambo's predecessor, Mrs. Roseline Adakayi, handed over the instrument of office, expressing appreciation for the cooperation and support she received during her six-month tenure. She described Sambo as an outstanding administrator with a wealth of experience and expressed confidence that his tenure would strengthen the Registry Department.

Sambo thanked the Governing Council for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work closely with the University management to ensure transparency, due process, and fairness in the appointment of a substantive registrar.
