Huge congratulations to Professor Augustine Nonso Odili of the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Abuja, who has been appointed pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the Margaret Lawrence University, Galilee, Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.

Odili, a professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Lead Investigator, Circulatory Health Research Laboratory was acting dean, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Abuja.
He is also Honorary Consultant Cardiologist,University of Abuja Teaching Hospital; vice president, Nigerian Hypertension Society; and chair, International Society of Hypertention African Regional Advisory Group.
He is expected to bring his vast administrative experience to bear on the newly-licensed university in need of a steady growth.
