UNIABUJA Renews MoU with Nigerian Army Resource Centre

The University of Abuja's Centre for Gender Security Studies and Youth Advancement (CGSSYA) has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC). The renewal, which builds on the previous three-year agreement, was officially signed on December 3, 2024, at the NARC headquarters in Abuja.

The acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, represented the University of Abuja, while the Director-General of NARC, General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (Rtd), signed on behalf of the Army Resource Centre.

Dr. Gloria Shajobi-Ibikunle, Director of CGSSYA, highlighted that the partnership focuses on areas such as collaborative research on gender-related issues, postgraduate studies, training, seminars, workshops, conferences, and facility and staff exchanges. She noted that the renewed MoU aims to deepen the relationship and expand collaborative activities between the two institutions in pursuit of their shared objectives.
