UNICEF Raises Concern Over Alarming Frequency of School Abductions in Nigeria
UNICEF Representative in Nigeria, Cristian Munduate, expressed deep concern over the growing crisis, emphasizing the need for immediate and determined action from all levels of government and society to address the situation. He called for comprehensive measures to ensure the safe return of the abducted children and staff, as well as the implementation of strategies to secure schools across Nigeria.

The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) has condemned the abduction of students by bandits in Kaduna State, denouncing the alarming frequency of such incidents across Nigeria as a crisis requiring immediate and determined action from all levels of government and society.
Over 280 pupils and teachers were abducted from Government Secondary School and LEA Primary School in Kuriga, Kaduna State, highlighting a distressing trend of attacks on educational institutions in the country.
