The Management of the University of Cross River State has announced the Matriculation Ceremony for all First-Year, First-Degree Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

The Management of the University of Cross River State has announced the Matriculation Ceremony for all First-Year, First-Degree Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

It has been scheduled as follows:

  • Calabar Campus: Thursday, December 12, 2024
  • Ogoja & Okuku Campuses: Friday, December 13, 2024

All concerned should take note of the following requirements for participating in the event:

1. Mandatory Payment of Fees:

  • All newly admitted Students are required to pay their School Fees and the fee for Matriculation in full before the Matriculation Ceremony.

2. Matriculation Register:

RECOMMENDED FOR YOU: Yobe State University Students Protest Over Non-Payment of Full Student Loan Funds

  • The students who fail to meet the above requirements will not be included in the Matriculation Register. Consequently, they will not participate in the Matriculation Ceremony and will forfeit his/her admission for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.

3. Deadline for Payment:

  • The University will not entertain any requests for payment of school fees after the Matriculation Ceremony.

4. Students who have paid their fees in full must:

  • i. Proceed to their Departments and Faculties to complete their registration and Documentation
  • ii. Collect their Matriculation Gowns from the Faculty Officers upon presenting evidence of full payment of fees.

5. Return of Gowns:

  • Matriculation Gowns must be returned not later than two (2) days after the Ceremony to the Faculty Officers. Gowns returned later than one (1) week after the Ceremony will attract a late-return fee of N2,000.00/day

6. All Matriculating Students are expected to display utmost decorum during the Ceremony. Acts of misconduct will not be tolerated and will attract disciplinary measures.
