The University of Jos is among the 126 institutions approved for the first phase of the Federal Government's student loan scheme, according to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). This initiative is set to benefit approximately 1.2 million students across federal government-owned universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and technical colleges.
The student loan scheme aims to ease the financial burden on students and ensure access to education. The approved list includes a diverse range of institutions, and the University of Jos is a key participant in this groundbreaking program.
