The University of Jos has released the proposed academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session, detailing the key dates and activities for undergraduate students. According to the calendar, the first semester is set to begin with online orientation for fresh students on Monday, August 19, 2024, followed by the registration of returning students on Monday, August 26, 2024.

The commencement of the first semester lectures is scheduled for Monday, September 2, 2024. The calendar highlights several critical dates, including the matriculation of fresh students on Thursday, September 19, 2024, and the end of semester lectures on Friday, November 30, 2024.

The first semester exams are slated to start on Monday, December 2, 2024, and will run until Friday, December 20, 2024. The first semester officially ends on Sunday, December 22, 2024, followed by the Christmas break from December 23, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
