 A University of Lagos (UNILAG) first-class graduate from the Department of Mass Communication became a social media sensation during the institution's 56th Convocation Ceremony. Moments after receiving his certificate from the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, the joyous graduate performed Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature "Siuuu" celebration right on the podium.

Dressed in the traditional pink academic gown with a yellow sash, the graduate gathered momentum before leaping into the air with outstretched arms, 벨팅 out the famous "Siuuu" shout to the delight of the crowd. The ceremony, which ran from January 20 to 22, 2026, celebrated several major milestones: 

Total Graduates: 16,506 students were admitted into various degrees.
