The Faculty of Education students made an impressive mark as they clinched top honors at the first edition of the Creativity Awards, part of the 21st Annual Lecture and 16th Post-Doctoral Award organized by the Fafunwa Educational Foundation (FEF) on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The event celebrated the exceptional creativity of these budding talents and their commitment to innovation.
In a tightly contested competition, the following students emerged as the standout performers:
Tied for 3rd Place: A Remarkable Display of Talent
- Miss Sarah Oluwadarafunmi Kilanko(@kilankosarah), a 400-level student of Home Economics Education, wowed the audience with her breathtaking turbans and hair fascinators.
- Miss Zukailha Olabisi Sanusi(@zukailahsanusi), also a 400-level student, this time in Technology and Vocational Education, demonstrated her creative prowess with her ottoman/storage makeshift creations.
2nd Place: A Glimpse of Artistic Brilliance
- Mr. Paul Oluwagbemiga Eniayesuni (@pauls_effect), a 400-level student specializing in Early Childhood Education, captured the second spot with his highly innovative pencil-shavings collages and handworks.
And the spotlight was firmly on the grand winner of the Creativity Awards, as the room erupted in excitement:

- Miss Imisioluwa Irinsanmi(@_inspiration.crochet), a fresh graduate of Home Economics Education, astounded the audience with her astonishing crochet works, leaving a lasting impression.
