UNILORIN Graduates Ganiyat Bukola Abdulganiyu Achieves First Class Honours at Microbiology

Ganiyat Bukola Abdulganiyu has graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Her undergraduate research focused on innovative strategies for discovering novel antibiotics to combat antimicrobial resistance.

Abdulganiyu's academic journey was marked by determination and resilience. Despite the challenges, she maintained a first-class CGPA and engaged in various extracurricular activities, including conferences and public health programs. She is a member of the Nigerian Society for Microbiology and the American Society of Microbiology.
