UNILORIN Prepares for 2024 Accreditation Excercise
The University of Ilorin has initiated the distribution of equipment to its Faculties and Departments in preparation for the 2024 accreditation exercise, starting from July 17, 2024.

The University of Ilorin is set to undergo its 2024 accreditation exercise with significant preparations underway to ensure a successful review. The University’s management has proactively started equipping its Faculties and Departments to facilitate the accreditation process. According to a memo dated July 16, 2024, issued by Mr. K. A. Saadu, Coordinator of the Directorate of Procurement in the Vice Chancellor’s Office, the institution is distributing necessary equipment and resources to support the accreditation exercise.
The initial batch of this distribution began on July 17, 2024. Mr. Saadu emphasized the importance of Deans and Heads of Departments being present to receive their allocated equipment and ensure all documentation is properly completed. He also urged all staff members to offer full support to the visiting accreditation teams to streamline their tasks.

In his memo, Mr. Saadu encouraged Deans and Heads of Departments to communicate any additional requirements to the Director of the Academic Planning Unit for prompt assistance. He stressed the need for collective effort and diligence from all stakeholders to maintain the University’s prestigious status as one of the most esteemed educational institutions in Nigeria.
