Ahmadu Bello University Students Representative Council Provides Update on Registration Process

The Ahmadu Bello University Students' Representative Council (ABUSRC) has released an update on the registration process for the 2024/2025 academic session.

According to the statement, the registration portal was not opened on December 9, 2024, as initially communicated by the school management. The delay is attributed to ongoing efforts to resolve registration issues. The Management Information System (MIS) has assured the council that the portal will be fully accessible by next week.

The council has also clarified that there will be no increase in tuition fees for the 2024/2025 academic session. Additionally, the hostel reservation portal will be opened after a significant number of students have registered.

Regarding the NELFUND disbursement, the council stated that the process will commence once the school management and NELFUND have confirmed the accuracy of the figures. Affected students are advised to wait patiently for the payment and update on their dashboard status.

The council also announced that the refund procedure for students who applied for the student loan last year is ongoing. The finance team is compiling the list of eligible students and discussing the process for transferring funds.

The ABUSRC has urged students to remain patient and cooperative regarding the registration process. The council is actively engaging with the school management to resolve all related issues.
