The Student Union Government (SUG) NELFund Committee at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially commenced the refund process for all beneficiaries of the National Economic Livelihood Fund (NELFund). In a notice issued on January 26, 2026, the Chairman of the Committee, Adamu A. Mazadu, reaffirmed the SUG’s steadfast commitment to transparency and accountability throughout the disbursement process.

The announcement sought to reassure students that the committee is taking all necessary steps to guarantee that every eligible beneficiary receives the funds owed to them. Efforts are ongoing in collaboration with relevant university authorities to ensure that the refund process is carried out smoothly and in a timely manner.
