UNIMAID Alumni Seeks Name Change on His Certificate To Reflect the New University Name, Muhammadu Buhari

Alkali Adamu Askira, a former President of the Law Students' Association (LAWSA) at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), has expressed willingness to return his certificate for a name change. He is prepared to pay a processing fee of N1 million to reflect the new name, Muhammadu Buhari, on his certificate.

According to Alkali, the name change is necessary for his family, particularly his son and grandsons, to have documents bearing the name Muhammadu Buhari.
