UNIMAID Announces Sale of Transfer Forms for 2023/2024

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially commenced the sale of Inter-University and Inter-Departmental transfer forms for the academic year 2023/2024.

Types of Transfers and Associated Fees

UNIMAID offers different categories of transfer options, each with its specific fee:

• Inter-University Transfer within Nigeria: This service is available at a fee of N150,000.00.
• Inter-University Transfer from Abroad: For students transferring from foreign universities, the fee is N250,000.00.
• Inter-Departmental Transfer (Voluntary): A fee of N100,000 is applicable for voluntary departmental transfers.
• Inter-Departmental Transfer (Obligatory): In cases of obligatory transfers, the fee is set at N50,000.00.

Important Steps and Guidelines

• Obtaining Consent: Before making any payments, it is crucial to obtain the consent of the relevant College/Faculty, Department, or Unit.
• Non-Refundable Payments: Please note that all payments made for transfer services are non-refundable.
• Form Collection: Upon payment, you are advised to visit the Directorate of Senate and Academic Matters to collect the necessary transfer forms.
• Departmental Acceptance: The Directorate will not be responsible for ensuring departmental acceptance of transferred students.
