UNIMAID Bursary Staff Yusuf Salihu Receives Prestigious ANAN Fellowship

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has conferred its Fellowship Certificate on Yusuf Biye Salihu, a staff member of the Bursary Department at the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), in recognition of his outstanding professional achievement.

The award followed the successful completion of a one-year professional programme at the School of Accountancy, Jos. During the presentation ceremony, the President of ANAN confirmed that Salihu had met all statutory requirements and was officially admitted as a Certified National Accountant (CNA), following approval by the Association’s Governing Council.

The fellowship certificate was formally presented on 7th July 2025, with members of ANAN congratulating Salihu on his accomplishment. In addition to his CNA status, he is also a member of the Chartered Certified Forensic Accountant/Auditor (CCrFA).

This recognition underscores Salihu’s commitment to professional excellence and highlights the calibre of UNIMAID staff contributing to the advancement of accounting and financial management standards in Nigeria.
