The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially announced the commencement of sales of forms for inter-university and inter-departmental transfers for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a circular from the Office of the Registrar dated 31 December 2025, the transfer exercise is open to all interested staff and students seeking either inter-university or inter-departmental transfers.
Applicants are required to pay non-refundable fees via the University’s Remita account, accessible through the official university portal. Proof of payment must be presented at the Bursary Department before applicants can download the transfer forms from the University ICT Centre.
Approved Transfer Fees:
- Inter-University Transfer (within Nigeria): ₦150,000
- Inter-University Transfer (from Abroad): ₦250,000
- Inter-Departmental Transfer (Voluntary): ₦100,000
- Inter-Departmental Transfer (Obligatory): ₦50,000
The University encourages all eligible candidates to complete the process promptly to participate in the transfer exercise.
