The University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, has announced the release of its 2024/25 Post-UTME Nursing and Midwifery forms. Interested candidates are invited to apply for the various programs available, including General Nursing, Post Basic Midwifery, Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing, and Bachelor of Nursing Science. 1. General Nursing Programme (RN)
- Eligibility: Candidates must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent with five credits, including English and either Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Duration: Three calendar years.
- Certification: Registered Nurse (RN).

2. Post Basic Midwifery Programme (RM)
- Eligibility: Candidates must be registered nurses and meet all institutional requirements.
- Duration: One calendar year.

3. Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme
- Eligibility: Candidates must be registered nurses and meet all institutional requirements to be admitted into any of the eight schools of psychiatric nursing.
- Duration: One calendar year.
- Certification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).

4. Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree Programme ((link unavailable))
- Eligibility: Candidates must possess five credit-level passes in WASSCE/SSCE or its equivalent in no more than two sittings. Subjects must include English Language, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Mathematics. Candidates must also meet all institutional requirements.
- Duration: Five calendar years, including a one-year internship in a recognized healthcare institution.
- Certification: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN), and Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN).
