The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has announced plans to establish 'The Centre for Wole Soyinka Studies' in honor of the renowned literary icon's 90th birthday. This initiative aims to celebrate Prof. Soyinka's significant contributions to literature, drama, and political activism, both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Ojoniyi Olabode, an award-winning playwright and faculty member in UNIABUJA's Department of Theatre Arts, has been appointed as the Acting Director of the center. He brings a wealth of academic expertise and experience to this role.
